A RECAPITULATION OF CORRUPTION IN NIGERIA.

From sociological point of view, corruption in any human society is a clear indication that something is wrong in the system, be it political, economic, sociological or religious sphere.

Corruption in Nigeria has passed the alarming stage and entered the fatal stage; and Nigeria will -die if we keep pretending that she is only slightly disposed.

Corruption in Nigeria is no longer a small masquerade but a big one, a generally accepted and equally institutionalized "doctrine" for Nigeria. For a good percentage of people in the country, corruption is a free and fair game which anyone who is able could play unperturbed and without qualms.

A cursory look at almost all the spheres of life in this our country would tell you of the escalating and mountainous rise in corruption. It's degrees, both the arithmetical and geometrical progressions are indomitable.

The "evil" called corruption is found in every nook and cranny of the society.

Corruption also reigns "supreme" in our law courts since most judges have sold Justice for Naira. The Nigeria custom is becoming a "mess", our offices are in jeopardy because of corruption. I am not forgetting the Nigerian Police Force and other agencies in the country which are already more corrupt than corruption itself. They have become more crook than crookedness itself.

The worst aspect is that everyone cries about our Police force, but instead of improving it gets worse.
